MEDUSA, designed by Fernando Martínez, wins the Archiproducts Design Award, a recognition that celebrates excellence in design on an international scale.
This award represents much more than an achievement for our team; it is a celebration of the talent and creativity that define the city of Valencia, our hometown and the birthplace of our designer. We are especially proud of our city and its people, who in these days, despite adversity, have shone for their solidarity, resilience, and empathy.
In a market where personalisation and creativity are increasingly valued, MEDUSA allows each person to play an active role in the configuration of their lighting by changing the shape of the lamp at any moment. This offers a more interactive experience, offering a unique and versatile solution.
In addition, by allowing the consumer to be a co-creator of the product, a stronger emotional bond with the object is fostered, making it more valuable and meaningful. This creates a much more immersive user experience, where the customer is no longer just a passive recipient of a product, but an active part in its creation.
Furthermore, MEDUSA is a sustainable design, featuring a polyester cord made from recycled plastic.
It is certified under the Global Recycle Standard (GRS), ensuring that the recycled materials used in the product are produced in compliance with the highest standards.
This award reinforces our mission to create pieces that not only illuminate but also transform spaces and the emotions of those who experience them.
Supporting local talent and sharing it with the world is at the heart of who we are. At Olé Lighting, we will continue working to bring the light of Valencia to every corner of the globe.
